Well, you are in luck. If the inmate you are looking for is residing in the Kinston Jail, you will not have to call the facility to locate information. You can just log on to the custody list by searching the inmate’s full first and last name or their date of birth.

To send money to an inmate in the Kinston Jail, you will need to use Connect Network GTL. Create an account and you can deposit money within a short few minutes.

Phone calls

The Kinston Jail will allow inmates to use the phones in the common areas between the hours of 9 am to 11 pm daily. During these hours the offenders will have access to call their loved ones. There is no time restraint. The phones are first come first served.

The Kinston Jail used Connect Network GTL as their phone service provider. You will need to ensure that you put money on the phone account, so the inmate can have the opportunity to call you.

If you do not, the inmate can still use the phone, but the inmate will be required to make collect calls, which can only be done, if you have a landline telephone rather than a cell phone.

Visitation

The Kinston Jail has visitation online and in person.

If you are not close to the facility, you can still visit the inmate over the internet. However, you should know that this service will cost you 25 cents per minute to do. You can visit between the hours of 9 am to 11 am, 1 pm to 4 pm, and 7 pm to 10:30 pm. You will need to create an account on the Getting Out website.

For in person visits, you will be allowed to visit once a week. This visit can be a maximum of 25 minutes.
