All inmates will have the chance to use the telephones. Inmates are given one free call when they are first being booked into the San Marcos City Jail.
After they are officially booked, they will be able to use the telephones during the daytime hours to call home. Inmates will not be given messages from their friends and family, if they try to call them.
Visitation
All visitors to the San Marcos City Jail are required to be a minimum of 18 years to visit an offender. If you are bringing someone under the age of 18, you will be required to stay with them throughout the entirety of their visit.

Only adults over the age of 18 will be permitted to visit Monday through Friday. Only two adults can visit at a time.
On the weekends, 2 adults can visit or 1 adult along with 2 children can visit at a time.
You will only be permitted to visit an inmate 2 times a week. These visits can be 20 minutes in length.
You will need to leave all personal belongings in your vehicle.
