Phone calls

The Gulf County Jail used Paytel for their phone service.

What does this mean for you?

You do not have to worry about collect calls, like the old days. Of course, the inmate will have the opportunity to make a collect call, if needed as well.

But, with the Gulf County Jail using Paytel you will have an easier time keeping up to date with when their phone account needs money, how the money is being used, and who the inmate is calling.

Inmates in the Gulf County Jail will only be permitted to have a 15-minute in length phone call, so everyone gets a chance to use the telephones.

You will be required to schedule your visit with a minimum of 24 hours in advance. The scheduled visit will then have to be confirmed by the inmate prior to it being set in stone.
