The Leslie County Detention Center was constructed in 1978. When the Leslie County Detention Center was constructed it was under Sheriff L. Ray Patterson’s careful watch.

Inmates can receive letters, while they are in the Leslie County Detention Center. But you should refrain from your letters having any of the following subject matters:

Inmates may also receive soft-sided Bibles. The only catch for sending a Bible to the Leslie County Detention Center is they will need to be sent to the facility from the supplier and/or publisher.
