Sending a Mail/Care Package

The Suffolk County - House of Corrections South Bay approves the following items to be sent to inmates:

  • New Paperback books

  • Magazines

  • Photos

  • Newspapers

All items will need to have the inmate’s information on them and be mailed by USPS.

Sending Money

You are only allowed to mail an inmate a money order by using USPS. No cash.

Phone calls

If you do not have a mobile line and would like to receive calls from the inmates in the Suffolk County - House of Corrections South Bay, you will be happy to know they don’t just do collect calls anymore. They also use Paytel.

Paytel is a third-party service that contracts with the Suffolk County - House of Corrections South Bay. You can choose a plan you would like when you create your account.
