The Wright County Law Enforcement Center was constructed in 1978. When the Wright County Law Enforcement Center was constructed it was under Sheriff L. Ray Patterson’s careful watch.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates can receive letters, while they are in the Wright County Law Enforcement Center. But you should refrain from your letters having any of the following subject matters:

  • Physical Violence

  • Gruesome Subject Matter

  • Sexual Acts

  • Sexually Explicit Images

If your letter has any of the following, it will be discarded, and the inmate will not be given it.

Inmates may also receive soft-sided Bibles. The only catch for sending a Bible to the Wright County Law Enforcement Center is they will need to be sent to the facility from the supplier and/or publisher.

Inmates can also receive tennis shoes as well, but just like the Bibles, they will need to be sent to the Wright County Law Enforcement Center from the supplier and/or publisher.

All other packages and items will need to be approved by the Jail Administration prior to you sending them.

Phone calls

Inmates do not have many privileges in the Wright County Law Enforcement Center, but one of their main ones is being able to use the telephone to call home.

All calls will be collected. All calls will be limited to 15 minutes. All calls will be recorded and monitored.

Visitation

Inmates will be permitted two non-contact visits per calendar week. Visits will not be less than 20 minutes. The Wright County Law Enforcement Center uses this following visitation schedule
