The Prentiss County Jail was constructed in 1978. When the Prentiss County Jail was constructed it was under Sheriff L. Ray Patterson’s careful watch.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates may also receive soft-sided Bibles. The only catch for sending a Bible to the Prentiss County Jail is they will need to be sent to the facility from the supplier and/or publisher.
