Sending a Mail/Care Package

Phone calls

All inmates will have the chance to purchase minutes from the commissary if they have funds in their account. If they do not, they will have to call home using the collect call method. All calls are monitored and recorded.

Visitation

The visiting hours at the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit will be done a bit differently than most of the correctional institutions. The Calumet Transitional Housing Unit uses their schedule on the first letter of the offenders last name. This schedule will change every four or so months.

Visits will be on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 1 pm to 3 pm. However, the day of the visit will solely be dependent on the inmate’s last name. Please note that inmates are only allowed to have three visitors per visiting appointment.
