The Beaver County Jail was constructed in 1978. When the Beaver County Jail was constructed it was under Sheriff L. Ray Patterson’s careful watch.

Throughout the years, the Beaver County Jail expanded and expanded again. As of today, Beaver County Jail can comfortably hold 16 inmates.

The Beaver County Jail employs around 50 people. Most of these people are correctional officers that ensures that Beaver County Jail runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates can receive letters, while they are in the Beaver County Jail. But you should refrain from your letters having any of the following subject matters:

  • Physical Violence

  • Gruesome Subject Matter

  • Sexual Acts

  • Sexually Explicit Images

If your letter has any of the following, it will be discarded, and the inmate will not be given it.

Inmates may also receive soft-sided Bibles. The only catch for sending a Bible to the Beaver County Jail is they will need to be sent to the facility from the supplier and/or publisher.

Inmates can also receive tennis shoes as well, but just like the Bibles, they will need to be sent to the Beaver County Jail from the supplier and/or publisher.

All other packages and items will need to be approved by the Jail Administration prior to you sending them.

Phone calls

Inmates do not have many privileges in the Beaver County Jail, but one of their main ones is being able to use the telephone to call home.

All calls will be collected. All calls will be limited to 15 minutes. All calls will be recorded and monitored.
