The Director is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the agency, including field locations and administrative functions such as personnel, training, budgeting, and overall operation of the agency. The Director is the primary contact for the Governor's office, legislators, local law enforcement agencies, other state agencies, and department of correction agencies located throughout the United States. This position provides the leadership and vision for the agency, drawing upon experience and knowledge as an administrator and the knowledge and experience of executive staff.
