The Stevens County Jail was constructed in 1978. When the Stevens County Jail was constructed it was under Sheriff L. Ray Patterson’s careful watch.

Throughout the years, the Stevens County Jail expanded and expanded again. As of today, Stevens County Jail can comfortably hold 40 inmates.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates can receive letters, while they are in the Stevens County Jail. But you should refrain from your letters having any of the following subject matters:

  • Physical Violence

  • Gruesome Subject Matter

  • Sexual Acts

  • Sexually Explicit Images

Inmates may also receive soft-sided Bibles. The only catch for sending a Bible to the Stevens County Jail is they will need to be sent to the facility from the supplier and/or publisher.

Inmates can also receive tennis shoes as well, but just like the Bibles, they will need to be sent to the Stevens County Jail from the supplier and/or publisher.

Phone calls

Inmates do not have many privileges in the Stevens County Jail, but one of their main ones is being able to use the telephone to call home.
